Qualification/Experience
Ruth has a heart for partnering with others on the road to healing, recovery, & freedom, and is an associate Sex Addiction Therapist candidate.
After graduation with a degree in International Relations, her passion for policy reform led her to serve in a variety of areas, including volunteerism in the US and overseas. With a desire to make an even greater impact while serving those in need, Ruth is currently an LPC associate and is pursuing certification as a Sexual Addiction Therapist. Ruth has witnessed the life-changing, positive influence of being in community versus isolation. Ruth is committed to cultural sensitivity and believes in the healing power of life-giving relationships. She enjoys working on issues including women’s issues, betrayal trauma, addiction, family, life transitions/stressors, self-esteem, and identity.
In times of rest, Ruth enjoys travel, cooking, some good jazz, quality time with her family, and learning something new from a good book or podcast.
