Qualification/Experience

Jennifer Hicks has worked in Christian counseling centers through churches and in private practice. In her counseling, she combines genuine compassion, grace-filled Biblical truths, a solid education and professional experience. She works with all ages, including young children, adolescents and adults. This includes individual, family and marriage counseling. Some of her specialty areas include counseling issues such as: issues related to adolescents and children; women’s issues; grief; depression and anxiety; relationships; stress; and abuse victims. Jennifer’s previous professional experience includes: program coordinator focused on helping teenage parents and their families in their parenting and relational skills; and therapist at a girls’ residential treatment center.

She has also led workshops and classes in area churches on pre-marital and marriage topics. Jennifer and her husband are the proud parents of two children. One of her favorite Bible promises is found in Romans 8:39. “Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
